Add quick-release convenience to your awning setup with the XD Alu-Cab Quick Pitch Adaptor (Double), designed for select Alu-Cab and Quick Pitch awnings.

The XD Alu-Cab Quick Pitch Adaptor connects compatible awnings to the RacksBrax XD Hitch system, allowing you to quickly remove or remount your awning. This double kit accommodates the unique mounting configurations of the Alu-Cab 180 Shadow, Alu-Cab 270 Shadow, and Quick Pitch Weathershade 20 Sec awnings.

Product Overview

The RacksBrax XD Hitch is designed for awnings with vertically spaced mounting points between 100mm and 120mm. Compatible Alu-Cab and Quick Pitch awnings use a different mounting configuration and require this adaptor kit to connect to the XD Hitch.

The included XD Connector Bar provides the required connection between the awning’s mounting brackets and the XD Hitch.

RacksBrax recommends pairing this kit with the XD Adjustable Bracket Range (Double) or XD Side Twist Bracket Range (Double). Select the appropriate bracket version for your roof rack.

This quick-release system is not compatible with the Quick Pitch Weathershade Maxx.

Each compatible awning requires the following components for a complete quick-release setup:

• 2 suitable mounting brackets
• 2 RacksBrax XD Hitches
• 2 XD Alu-Cab Quick Pitch Awning Adaptors, supplied in this Double kit

Important Use Note

The XD Hitch does not attach directly to Alu-Cab or Quick Pitch brackets without the XD Connector Bar included in this kit.

Read the adaptor installation instructions alongside the RacksBrax XD Hitch instructions (RB-INS-009). Some fasteners supplied with the XD Hitch are required for installation.

Although both adaptors are identical, the rear adaptor uses four M8 × 25mm socket button head screws, while the front adaptor uses two. Follow the installation instructions for correct positioning and assembly.
