The XD Side Twist Bracket is a universal mounting solution designed to significantly reduce headroom above your roof rack when an awning is removed. When used with the RacksBrax quick-release XD Hitch, this system allows you to quickly remove your awning and stow the bracket in seconds without tools.

Product Overview

This bracket system enables you to remove your awning using the XD Hitch, then rotate the bracket from a vertical to horizontal position to minimize height. By loosening the eyebolt and twisting the bracket 90 degrees, headroom is reduced from approximately 150mm to 50mm, creating a low-profile setup when not in use.

The Short Foot version is best suited for:

  • Universal roof rack bars
  • Platform-style roof racks with transverse slat configurations

Additional fitment considerations:

  • For platform-style racks with longitudinal slats, use the Long Foot version
  • Platform racks with a perimeter lip may require bracket packers (not included)
  • Available in both double and triple configurations
