Built for strength and ease of use, the HD Awning Quick Release Hitch uses UV-stabilised, glass-reinforced nylon hitches with stainless steel fasteners to help secure and remove roof rack accessories with confidence. It is designed for a range of compatible awnings and accessories, while also integrating with the broader RacksBrax HD range.

Standard Double
The HD Hitch Standard is ideal for awnings or accessories with spine track spacings between 40-52mm, using 2 mounting points, and carrying a maximum load of 40kg total.
- Best for shower tents, pull-out awnings, and some wing awnings
- Suitable for one vehicle-side mounting setup with one awning or accessory
- Designed for compatible accessories using two mounting positions
Standard Triple
The Standard Triple configuration is suited to applications where an additional mounting point is preferred for support and fitment. For customers comparing options, this is the no-frills triple-mount choice for compatible awnings and accessories.
Tradesman II (Double +)
The HD Hitch Tradesman II is ideal for pull-out awnings or accessories with 40-52mm spine track spacing and M8 fasteners, using 2 mounting points, and supporting a maximum load of 40kg.
- Works with most shower tents, pull-out awnings, and some wing awnings
- Can support two awnings or accessories across two mounting points
- Some smaller wing-style awnings can be used with an HD Awning Adaptor Plate
- Includes an extra set of HD Wall Mounts and HD Holders for garage wall storage when not in use
Tradesman III (Triple +)
The HD Hitch Tradesman III is ideal for pull-out awnings or accessories with 40-52mm spine track spacing and M8 fasteners, using 3 mounting points, and supporting a maximum load of 60kg.
- Works with most shower tents, pull-out awnings, and some wing awnings
- Designed for setups needing three mounting points or brackets
- Some smaller wing-style awnings can be used with an HD Awning Adaptor Plate
- Includes an extra set of HD Wall Mounts and HD Holders for garage wall storage when not in use
Compatibility and Best Fit

A SUPA PEG-specific HD Hitch model is also available for compatible SUPA PEG awnings with a single spine track spacing of 33mm. Some SUPA PEG applications may require the XD Hitch and the XD Multi-Awn Adaptor for proper fitment.
